CIS Chemical Inventory System® CISPro Client/Server
CISPro Client/Server, the newest version of ChemSW's industry-standard database software for tracking chemicals and other laboratory supplies. CISPro Client/Server not only puts the impressive power and robust functionality of CISPro onto user's desktops, but also leverages the strengths of Microsoft's SQL Server runtime version which delivers a larger maximum database size and improved performance over previous generation software.
CISPro Client/Server is an easily deployable workgroup inventory solution with a reliable database engine - Microsoft's SQLServer runtime version that's designed for the desktop as well as small to mid-sized workgroups and departments. Microsoft's SQL Server runtime offers a number of enhancements that ChemSW now leverages within CISPro. By upgrading CISPro to Client/Server, ChemSW has been able to add significant new functionality as well.
CISPro Client/Server runs on all current SQL Server runtime versions, which are simplified versions of SQL Server -- perfect for a smaller workgroup needing the reliability of SQL Server without the overhead. Using SQL Server runtime versions allows ChemSW to leverage their many years of Enterprise-class inventory management with SQL Server, bringing enterprise level features and reliability to the workgroup.
CISPro Client/Server can help companies reduce procurement costs, meet regulatory reporting requirements, eliminate unnecessary purchases, and minimize disposal costs by maximizing the use of available chemical supplies. Optimized Vendor Catalog Data Access:
- Single source simultaneous search and import of chemical vendor catalogs

- Search and import from nearly two gigabytes of current vendor catalog data
- Eliminates need to have multiple windows open for different vendor catalogs
